How NOT to Become a Published Author

....or so I'm told:

If you agree with or empathize with the writer in this video at any point, let me know which line is in your head.  I'll find an agent to respond to it.

Have fun!

  1. I can't believe how informative this video actually was! I love the opposing character. She was too funny. And the only line out of the writer's mouth that I empathized with was "Ha ha! That's funny. I might base a character on you."

I love to write (poetry and novels). I've had several piece of poetry published in local art and literary magazines and last year I finally signed a contract to get paid for my work in an international poetry book.

One day, I do hope that one of my novels will be in good enough condition to be considered for publication. I know it will be hard, but hopefully fun at the same time.

Regardless of that outcome, my biggest dream right now is to become an editor. I love grammar, syntax, proofreading, and copy editing almost more than I love writing. I gradute soon so I am looking forward to gaining more experience soon.

Anyway, thanks for this vid. i've really enjoyed it.

  2. Oh my goodness, I saw this about a week ago. I was laughing so hard! Worst part, there are some people who actually think like that. Sad, so sad. But made me laugh like a fool.
